Wild-Card Playoff
The final Toyota Quarterback Challenge of the 2000 season took place at half-time of the Ravens-Broncos Wild-Card Playoff Game. In extremely windy conditions, Tavon McGee of Poly Tech won the Quarterback Challenge with a throw of 50 yards. He defeated Michael Bowman of City College.
Game 8
At half-time of the Ravens/Jets game on December 24th, Ryan Bordner of Francis Scott Key High School and Michael Armstrong of Archbishop Curley High School competed in the most closely contested Toyota Quarterback Challenge of the season. Bordner won the Quarterback Challenge with a throw of 48 yards. His toss out-distanced Armstrong's by a mere 6 inches.
Game 7
At half time of the Ravens/Chargers game on December 10, Cory Hoffman of
Walkerville High School won the Quarterback Challenge with a throw of 50
yards. He defeated Bobby Griffin of Calvert Hall and Mike Pfisterer of
North County High School.
Game 6
During the Ravens home game versus the Cleveland Browns on November 26,
Steve Johnson of Old Mill High School defeated Austin Page of Hereford
High School. Johnson won the Quarterback Challenge with a throw of 50 yards.
Game 5
Jason Maxey of Hammond High School won the Toyota Quarterback Challenge during half-time of the Ravens-Cowboys game on Sunday November 19. He defeated Jake Kuzma of Fallston High School with a throw of 57 yards.
Game 4
In the fourth Toyota Quarterback Challenge, held Sunday, October 29 at PSINet Stadium during halftime of the Ravens-Steelers game, Kevin Young of Mervo threw a 57-yard pass to win the contest, defeating Pat Starleper of North Harford.
Game 3
In the third Toyota Quarterback Challenge, held Sunday, October 22 at PSINet Stadium during halftime of the Ravens-Titans game, J.T. Rembert of Oakland Mills threw a 61-yard pass to win the contest, defeating Mark McKenzie of Woodlawn High School.
Game 2
In the second Toyota Quarterback Challenge, held Sunday, September 24th at PSINet Stadium during halftime of the Ravens-Bengals game, Ambrose Woodsen of Gilman School threw a 55-yard pass to win the contest, defeating Tyrell Brown of Randallstown High School.
Game 1
In the first Toyota Quarterback Challenge, held Sunday, September 10th at PSINet Stadium during halftime of the Ravens-Jaguars game, Shai (pronounced shy) Warsaw of Sherwood High School threw a 55-yard pass to win the contest, defeating Joe Peeler of Mount St. Joe High School and Byron Selby of Dunbar High School.
